Pinty’s Folding Treadmill offers a decent solution for those who need a low profile model that still has enough power behind it. If you ask us, it is among the most practical treadmills you can get for $500 or less. Today we are going to check it out and see what it has to offer. It might just prove to be exactly what you were looking for. Let’s get started.
There is something oddly comforting about a basic, skeleton design. Aside from making the treadmill so much lighter and thus easier to move around, a simple design makes things much easier to put together. With that said the frame is rock solid. Since there is no bulky control module on top of it, its job is more or less focused on providing you with something to hold onto should you need to do so. The belt is surprisingly large considering the overall size of the treadmill. We are looking at a 43.5″ by 15.7″ belt, which offers plenty of running surface. Overall aesthetics are pretty good. The treadmill features mostly black and dark gray tones with two bright orange stripes running along the side steps. It is one of those models that are perfectly stealthy in a gym, but can achieve a similar effect at home too. From a design standpoint, we have no complaints.
Usually when you are dealing with what appears to be a simple treadmill, you don’t expect to see too many features. That’s not the case with Pinty Folding Treadmill. It is quite the opposite actually. Despite its small control unit, there are plenty of features to be found once you start digging. Before we get to that, let’s address the motor and some other things. The motor is a 1.5 hp unit which allows it to push you up to 12 km/h. We purposefully laid that out in kilometers per hour because that’s the only unit you can use. As far as incline goes, it is mechanical and allows for 16 degrees maximum. Control module offers over a dozen running routines, heart rate monitoring as well as your standard metrics. Naturally, all of the safety features are there as well. Using the interface is quite easy, especially considering the size of the display.
In all honesty, Pinty Folding Treadmill has been quite surprising. At first, it seemed to be somewhat misplaced considering its size and appearance. However, it is a prime example of how appearances can be deceptive. It’s a rock solid treadmill with plenty of features to offer. If you are not too worried about the looks and bulky aesthetics, this could be a perfect choice for you. This becomes even more relevant if you need something that has a fairly small footprint. In our book, Pinty Folding Treadmill is a very capable platform that can give you the challenge you need.
