When you are shopping for static bikes, you have two options. You can either go with a model that is designed for home use, or you can get one which is optimized for gym use. Former are usually cheaper while latter tend to be much more reliable. L Now LD577 belongs to the latter category. It is one of the most competitive indoor cycling bikes on the market and also one of the best ways to get into shape. Today we are going to take a closer look and show you what this bike is all about.
One thing that puts commercial grade bikes above their more casual counterparts is always their design. When something is built to be used day in, day out by many different people for a long period of time, it has to be built tough. That is definitely one way to describe L Now LD577. It is a machine built by professionals for professionals. The frame itself is a standard H pattern that mimics a frame of a road bike. The seat is fully adjustable both horizontally and vertically, thus allowing you to find the perfect seating position. Same goes for the handlebars. When you first put the bike together, you will have no doubts that it is built to be abused. Its frame design simply allows for hard core workout sessions where you absolutely don’t have to think about stability or support. It allows you to go as hard as you want or need, no matter what.
Compared to some other commercial grade bikes, L Now LD577 brings a few bonus features. Before we get to that, lets take a look at the core components. Belt drive system installed in this bike was designed for performance, as usual, but also authenticity. You have a 44lbs flywheel which runs smoothly and consistently all while providing you with a rather authentic inertia. The pedals are durable, offer plenty of grip and come with adjustable cages. Moving up, we have the seat, or saddle as many call it. L Now used a chunkier saddle which still retains that classic shape. The main difference is the fact that you can enjoy a bit more comfort due to the additional padding. Handlebars are wide, ergonomic and allow for a variety of grips. You can be aggressive or casual if you want. Right in the middle of those two horns is where L Now has installed a display unit. While it isn’t a control module of any kind, it does allow you to track and monitor your progress with ease.
L Now has managed to merge two somewhat different worlds with their LD577. This bike brings the toughness and build quality of a commercial grade bike, but also some features you usually find on more casual models. As far as indoor cycling bikes for personal use go, this is about as good as it gets. We really appreciate the LD577 for a number of reasons. One of the most important aspects for us is the price. L Now could have priced this higher but they didn’t. Because of that, we can comfortably say it’s a value for the money deal.
