It isn’t often that you see great products being offered at super competitive prices. Sunny Health & Fitness SFT7515 is one of those rare treadmills that offer so much at a price that is almost too good to be true. Accent is on almost. It is easily one of the most impressive treadmills you can get for $500 or less at the moment. Today we are going to check it out closer and see exactly what kind of performance you can expect to see from one of these.
Sunny Health & Fitness is one of those brands that really understand what kind of performance an average user needs. This treadmill looks fairly basic. We could go as far as to say that it looks kinda bland. However, it’s not about the looks. SFT7515 features a bulky metal frame that eliminates any chance of wobbling, twisting or anything other than constant rigid support. The belt measures 39″ by 14″, which puts it among the more compact treadmills in this price range. It is definitely compact, which goes well with its folding nature. What we found quite impressive about Sunny Health & Fitness SFT7515 is the fact that there are auxiliary controls on the side handles. Those give you access to incline and speed control. Having aux controls is something that you don’t see too often, even in treadmills which are one price range above this one. As we move onto features, things get even more interesting.
For what is essentially a fairly affordable treadmill, Sunny Health & Fitness SFT7515 packs a heavy set of features. The motor is a fairly powerful unit that allows you to use speeds up to 8 miles per hour. With 12 different incline options, you can rest assured that SFT7515 will push you to your limits. Control module features heart rate monitoring, a number of preset programs and BMI calculator. Again, that’s a feature we don’t see too often. The integrated Bluetooth allows you to pair your phone, answer calls, stream music and more. You can also use the cable to access these features. Even though controls are stacked tightly under the LCD display, they are still pretty intuitive to use. Adjusting speed or incline on the go is made so much easier with those handlebar controls. Especially since you get used to them after a while. Overall, it is hard to find a better deal at this price.
If there’s one model in this price range that can be labeled as the bang for the buck champion, it would be this one. Sunny Health & Fitness has managed to include all the features you’d want from a treadmill into a package that is competitively priced and fairly reliable. In all honesty, we weren’t all that welcoming when we first saw this treadmill. However, it does exactly what they say it does. It’s hard to criticize anything about it, even though there are few things we’d like to see improved, when it brings such a good value to the table.
